We are very pleased that we can welcome you again this winter. It is very important to us that you can enjoy your winter holiday relaxed and carefree, therefore we would like to inform you about our Covid measures for the current situation. The joy about the opening in the current winter season is great, but of course we always have an eye on the situation to ensure the protection and well-being of our guests and employees.
Please note that the 2 G rule and an FFP2 mask requirement apply in Austria. We ask all arriving guests (with the exception of children under the age of 12) to bring proof of whether they have been vaccinated or have recovered. A lot has changed…. Things that will not change, however – that we and our team will do our best to provide you with a comfortable, enjoyable and relaxed stay with us – just as you are used to!

Safety is the top priority in the hotel & chalet madlochBlick
Your safety is important to us, which is why we will implement extensive protective measures for you and our employees in the hotel & chalet.
- Daily basic cleaning and extensive disinfection of surfaces throughout the hotel & chalet
- Daily cleaning and disinfection of the rooms and suites
- Disinfection stands are available in the public areas
- There is a possibility of hand disinfection throughout the hotel & chalet
- Training of our employees on the increased hygiene measures
- All of our employees will wear a face shield
- Daily check for Covid symptoms of our employees
We always stay informed about the ongoing changes and requirements regarding Covid-19. Please note that the measures may therefore be changed at short notice.
Your journey to the mountains
Please always observe the entry regulations for Austria. Your vacation with us should be worry-free, relaxed and safe – for all of our guests.
But sometimes unexpected things happen – for such cases there is the European travel cancellation insurance, which covers the cancellation costs upon presentation of a medical certificate (as of December 2021).

Please let us know if you want us to assist you in organizing your travel insurance. We have had very good experiences with this travel insurance and we warmly recommend to take one for this winter. Maybe just for a better feeling?
In the case that you notice typical Covid-19 symptoms within 2 weeks of your stay with us, we kindly ask you to inform us about this.
In the event that there is a travel ban for Lech at the Arlberg for your planned travel period, you can of course cancel your trip free of charge. We will immediately return the deposit you have paid.
Check-in Check-out
We are already looking forward to your stay with us and will give you a warm welcome!
Nevertheless, we will refrain from shaking hands and ask for your understanding. Please keep a minimum distance of 1 m during check-in. Many thanks.
In order to make the check-in as pleasant as possible for you, you can also send us the details of the people traveling with you in advance by e-mail – this will make your check-in even faster.
Further measures at the hotel & chalet
Rooms
Of course, your room will be cleaned as usual according to our high hygiene standards. In addition, all surfaces will be treated with a disinfectant.
We use an antiviral detergent to clean bed linen and towels. The remote control is packed in a protective cover that we constantly replace.
The cover service is available on request this winter, and we will enter your room as rarely as possible.
Restaurant, Walser Stube, Lobby & Bar
Here at madlochBlick there is plenty of space to relax, develop and keep your distance.
Our employees look forward to welcoming and pampering you again. At our rich breakfast buffet, you will find what your heart desires in the usual quality and prepared with love for you. We kindly ask all our guests to disinfect their hands, to adhere to the distance regulations in the buffet area.
The evening menu is served by us and the minimum distance between the tables in the restaurant is a matter of course for us. The restaurant, the Walser Stube and the bar and lobby area are only accessible to our house guests.
The madlochBlick bar is a popular meeting place before and after dinner or for a delicious coffee or hot chocolate in between. Please make sure to keep your distance here as well.
DISTANCE IS THE NEW DECENT
SPA & Wellness area
Pure relaxation is what it is all about in our spacious SPA area – also this winter. Whether in the indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna or in the relaxation area – there is enough space to keep your distance and to “relax”. The opening times of the sauna are adapted to daily needs.
Our massage offer can be booked as usual. Under increased hygiene measures you will find relaxation and well-being all along the line.
